Materials and Manufacturing Methods

I build with the finest materials available.  Beautiful, butted, thinwall steel tubing from Italy and the United States.  Beautifully  designed lugs from the best sources available.  I utilize a state of the art CAD program along with framebuilding equipment, jigs, and alignment equipment made for me in the United States. I miter the tubing by hand for a perfect fit, it may take longer but it is worth it.  I braze the joints with silver, not brass.  Silver allows for a lower temp torch producing a stronger joint.  Continuously through the build process, the frame is checked and rechecked to verify its alignment.

Finish Paint / Powder
Daltex frames are painted by one of the best in the business, David Cheakas.  I’ve known David for many years.  His paint work is as good as it gets.  If you can imagine it, he can do it.

Daltex frames are also available with an electro-static powder coat finish. This looks exactly like glossy paint, but is much more durable.  Powder coating doesn’t lend itself to complicated paint schemes and is offered for single color paint designs.  Romolo Garcia does the powder coating.  I’ve also known Romolo for many years and his skills are beyond reproach.
